Our Shows: Real Robots, Real Money, on Camera

Two YouTube series from our team, both traded with our own money. In the Risky Trading Show, Petko and Sam push proven Expert Advisors far past normal risk to see how far $10,000 can go. In the Robots Trading Show, the team puts new robots through five checks and decides on camera which ones get real money.

Our Shows: Real Robots, Real Money, on Camera

Two shows, one rule: it’s our own money

Most of our work with trading robots happens off camera: testing, comparing, deciding what to trade. The shows put that on camera, with the plans, the spreadsheets, the disagreements and the results, including the accounts that blow.

The Risky Trading Show is an experiment. It runs EAs with long live records at about ten times the risk we would normally use, on small live accounts, to see whether a set of $1,000 accounts can grow toward $1,000,000. Accounts have blown on camera. Watch it as a stress test, not a plan to copy.

The Robots Trading Show is the careful one. Maria brings in a robot, Desi researches the vendor, Sam tries to break it with backtests, and Petko makes the call. Robots that pass go on small live accounts with our money; the rest stay on demo.

How the risky plan works

The rules changed as the show went on. This is where they stood in episode 6 (November 2026).

  1. $1,000 accounts at ten times the risk

Each account starts with $1,000 and runs EAs with long live records at roughly ten times our normal risk: aiming for about 40% a month instead of the usual 2–5%.

  2. Take the deposit out at 2.5×

When an account grows from $1,000 to $2,500, the first $1,000 comes out.

When an account grows from $1,000 to $2,500, the first $1,000 comes out. The first target was 6×, until Sam’s odds tables in episode 3 showed most accounts would blow before reaching it.

  3. Profits refill blown accounts

Profits go into a common pile that refills a blown account, so a system gets a second chance and every blow-up stays visible in the list below.

  4. Many systems, never one bet

About ten accounts at most, each with different robots, because any single account can fail.

About ten accounts at most, each with different robots, because any single account can fail. Episode 5 caught two robots that moved together, a mistake the plan is meant to avoid.

  5. Not something to copy

We wouldn’t do this with savings.

We wouldn’t do this with savings. By episode 5 the experiment was about $1,000 down with three accounts blown, and the million-dollar figures in the show are simulations, not results.

Every risky account, live

The show’s accounts are connected to our tracker and update through the day. Blown accounts stay on the list.

Past results, in a backtest or on a live account, don’t guarantee future results, and trading with an EA can lose money. These accounts run at high risk and can lose everything in them.

Five gates before a robot gets our money

Every robot in the Robots Trading Show faces the same checks. Passing is no guarantee: approved robots start small, sized by how complete the evidence is.

The team’s backtest confirmation: a robot’s demo trades compared with a backtest of the same dates
  1. Demo results

About a month and around 30 trades on a demo account we can follow.

  2. A multi-year backtest

Sam backtests the robot over several years, beyond the period the vendor chose to show.

  3. The demo matches the backtest

The demo’s trades are compared with a backtest of the same dates and settings.

The demo’s trades are compared with a backtest of the same dates and settings. If they don’t match, the backtest can’t be trusted.

  4. A vendor we can trust

Desi looks into the developer and their track record before any money goes in.

  5. It adds something new

A robot that trades a market or a style the portfolio doesn’t have yet counts for more than another of the same.

Frequently asked questions

Are these real accounts?

Yes. Both shows trade our own money on live accounts. In the Robots Trading Show some robots stay on demo or go to a funded account instead, and the episode says which.

Should I copy the Risky Trading Show?

No. It runs EAs at about ten times normal risk, several accounts have already blown, and an account like these can lose everything in it. Watch it as an experiment.

How often are new episodes published?

There’s no fixed schedule. A new episode shows on this page by itself as soon as it’s public on YouTube.

Where else can I watch?

On YouTube: the Risky Trading Show on Petko Aleksandrov’s channel, the Robots Trading Show on the Algo Trading Space channel.

Where can I see the other accounts?

The risky accounts are listed live on this page. Every other account we trade is on our live results page.

Do you have a podcast too?

Yes: long conversations with brokers, prop firms, EA developers and traders. All episodes are on the podcast page.

More than what’s on camera

Every account we trade is on our live results page, updated through the day, losing months included.

Pick a robot by its live account, not its sales page.

Where we run a robot on our own account, its page shows the gain, the deepest drawdown and every month, the losing ones included.
